Our sale is entirely run by volunteers, so it's essential that we get enough help to make it function. And because of that, we make sure our volunteers get some amazing perks, the biggest of which is that all volunteers get to shop before the general public at our Thursday night pre-sale event. This means they get the first opportunity at the best deals! And consignors who volunteer earn more on their sales! 

What do volunteers do?

We have a variety of different duties from slightly heavy lifting to lighter duties, and they change throughout the week leading up the public sale days as we set up, consignors drop off their items, we have the sale, and we break it all down again. Here's a breakdown of the basic duties are for each day:

Monday - help set up clothing and toy racks, set up tables, help sort consignor items onto the sale floor

Tuesday - help sort consignor items onto the sale floor, begin arranging items on the sale floor

Wednesday - help sort consignor items onto the sale floor, continue arranging items on the sale floor

Thursday - finish sorting consignor items onto sale floor, make final arrangement of items on the sale floor

Friday - assist customers while shopping, keep sale floor organized, begin marking items for Saturday's discount sales

Saturday - assist customers while shopping, keep sale floor organized, resort consignor items at end, break down racks, etc.
